Steam Vortex Flow Meter

Steam Vortex Flow Meter

Kaifeng Chuangxin's vortex flow meter is a type of volumetric flow meter that makes use of a natural phenomenon that occurs when a liquid/gas flows around a bluff object. Vortex flow meters operate under the principle of vortex shedding, where vortices (or eddies) are shed alternately downstream of the object. The frequency of vortex shedding is directly proportional to the velocity of the liquid/gas flowing through the meter. Vortex flow meters are best suited for flow measurements where the introduction of moving parts presents problems. Sensitivity to variations in process conditions is low and, with no moving parts, wear is relatively low compared to other types of flow meters. Application: Gas: air, compressed air, oxygen, carbon dioxide, nitrogen, natural gas, methane gas, ammonia gas, etc. Steam: superheated steam, saturated steam. Liquid: water, oil Measured Medium Liquid,…
